In 1970 on February 13 a little rock quartet named Black Sabbath released their debut album.

50 years later on the day I did not get to see them perform live but I saw (Black S)Abbath.

I was not familiar with the music of Abbath when I got the opportunity to photograph them performing in Copenhagen, Denmark. But I did know that it was going to be intense and visually very interesting.

The featured photo at the top is the result of a very quick edit I did last night when I got home from the concert. The photo was processed using Capture One Express Fujifilm and then I applied some quick magic in Photoshop before I went to sleep.

The photo still looked okay to me when I woke up this morning and since it is Valentine’s day I thought I post it here…

The image above was shot with the Fujinon 18-55mm kit lens… Yes, I am pretty impressed too. 😉

This was my first time visiting this fantastic venue in Copenhagen called Amager Bio. I was met by very friendly staff and the place had a nice vibe with a well thought-out layout for a great concert experience for all visiting.

I hope to be back soon!
